Why Do I Even Bother Anymore??

When I was much much younger there was  action that if we made a habit of, it kept our butts out of trouble. It never took much effort if you just paid attention.  That behavior could get you some pretty nice perks and it was so very easy.  That action is spelled RESPECT.  Have our parents of today not taught the concept?

All it takes is simple common sense and a pleasant attitude.  I have reached an age where when I was younger I would be respected as I have respected others.  however, I do not feel very respected on several fronts, family being number one.

I will continue on as I have in the past, giving respect where it is due and pray that it won't make a difference on that wondrous day when my maker I will meet.
